What that removes from your desk

No entity. No payroll. No surprises.

Every item below is handled in South Africa, under South African law, by us.

01

No local company

You do not register a South African entity, open a bank account or file local returns.

02

No misclassification risk

The engineer is employed, not contracted through a border. The relationship is structured correctly from day one.

03

No currency administration

One invoice in the currency you agree, one payment run, one reference.

The process

Five steps, then they are working.

Typically a few weeks from brief to first day, depending on the discipline and how specific the brief is.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

If something is missing here, ask it directly — it is a short conversation.

Who is the engineer's employer?

Veri-Skilled employs the engineer in South Africa. You direct the work. That is the whole point of an employer-of-record arrangement: legal employment sits with us, day-to-day direction sits with you.

What does it cost?

One monthly fee per engineer, quoted in writing against the role you need. There are no separate placement fees hidden in the middle — you see the number before anything starts.

What if the engineer is not right?

You interview before anything is signed, so the decision is yours. If the fit is wrong after the start, talk to us early — the agreement is written to deal with it rather than leave you stuck.

Can we hire the engineer directly later?

Yes. That is a conversation, not a wall, and the terms are agreed up front rather than argued about afterwards.

Do you only work in engineering?

Yes. Industrial, design and mechanical, civil, and CAD and draughting. We do not pretend to recruit everything for everyone.
